i was greeted at work by a circle of people this morning having muffins, bagels and coffee in my honor, nothing getting thrown right into it. i met my team and they all seem great, definitely feels strange being the "new boss"...
today was the first day of my new job, of course it wasn't exactly my first day f work it was more like the first day of school. sign in, watch the instructional movie, have lunch, ride the bus (no joke we have our own "buses") then go get my id card, then home by 3:30pm. very strange indeed, after going to the same place for the last five years every day of the week it's going to take some getting used to.
